Recently, we
learned from relevant channels, Peugeot will launch the new 3008 models in the
first half of 2016, the new car will be upgraded based on the current model,
use some of the new design.
Currently the
official did not announced more details of this car, but from the spy photos we
got can see, the new car front air intake grille has obliquely banner style,
different than the current models, more changes about this car has not unclear,
the new car is expected to be upgraded in some details design and
configuration.
In power, the new
Peugeot 3008 is expected to continues the current models power configuration,
providing 2.0L naturally aspirated and 1.6THP two engines, which 2.0L naturally
aspirated engine maximum power output of 147 horsepower and peak torque of 200
Nm, transmission system matching 5-speed manual or 6-speed automated manual
gearbox; 1.6THP engine maximum power output of 167 horsepower and peak torque
of 245 Nm, transmission system matching 6-speed automated manual gearbox.
In test, the new
Peugeot 3008 will still use Lexia 3 to diagnosis all the system. Lexia 3 PP2000 PSA XS Evolution Peugeot Citroen Diagnostic
Tool compatible works on both Citroen and Peugeot cars from 1995,supports read
identification, read fault codes, clear fault codes, auto-scan etc. The newest
software version is Diagbox 7.76 equal to V8.12 and firmware is 4.3.3
support multiple languages.
